Got a strange issue with my NB8B, noticed it after changing the pads and going to the track (not sure if it was happening before this or not).
On a full lock right turn at slow speeds, like doing a u-turn there's a deep grind or growl. Only seems to happen going forward and not reverse and no noises going left either. Turn it full lock when stopped and couldn't see the tyre rubbing against the wheel arch or anything.
Any thoughts?

Mine does the same

Still haven't been able to figure out what it is.. I don't know when it started though, I've upgraded a few bits to the front end and don't know where it went wrong.

check power steering fluid level
the reservoir's outlet pipe is on the right of it.
When the fluid's low a right turn makes the fluid slosh to the left, causing the outlet (and PS pump) to suck in air, no fluid=no lubrication=grinding noise.

What about non power steering? Regrease the pinion and rack gears?

I'll have a look, but this happens at really low speeds so I can't see how the liquid could be sloshing around so much, I would guess it would also happen at higher speeds too and when the wheel isn't turned full lock (or close to).

Mine did it onyl at slow speeds too, higher speeds there was more road noise/wind noise/ etc to hear it over.
Check the fluid anyway, it only takes literally 5 seconds.

Figured it out! Wasn't the power steering fluid, that was fine, but it was the brake line!
The calliper was put on twisted and so was the brake line, it would stick out a little and at full lock it would rub! Saw this when I was putting the OEM brakes back on! Luckily no damage to the brake line though.
